Under The Radar
Show times:
Sunday from 4 to 6pm. It then gets repeated on a Thursday night, a bit like a bad sausage roll.
About the show:
Under the Radar is a specialist show, focused on ‘undiscovered’ music and on the talents of local musicians.
It’s a bit like the Radcliffe and Maconie show on Radio 2, but without the infectious energy and enthusiasm, the amusing badinage or the musical knowledge. Or, indeed, the ability to address a range of topics with even a hint of anything remotely approaching charm, insight or wit.
In spite of the presenters having a combined age of 138, Under the Radar claims to represent a key strand of the Pulse commitment to youth. The actor, broadcaster and twitter guru Stephen Fry recently described the show as “a truly dismal black hole of staggeringly witless ineptitude”.
