Taking his inspiration from such legendary broadcasters as Tony Blackburn, Simon Bates and Mike Smith, Stuart Dickson began his radio career on Hospital Radio in Lanarkshire in the 1980s, spending over 5 years playing the biggest chart hits each week. The music of that decade has never been far from his ears although he did find time to check out the hits of the 70s too!
After non-radio endeavours had got in the way, Stuart returned to his first love, again on hospital radio and that journey finally brought him to Pulse 98.4 in June 2012. After hosting a series of daytime shows including a regular stint on "Drive Time", Stuart settled into the weekend schedule where he has been hosting the station's "Classic Hits" shows since early 2013.
You can hear Stuart on Saturday mornings 8-10am with "Chartbusters", playing the biggest chart hits from the 60s to the 90s. You can also hear Stuart on Sunday afternoons 2-5pm with "Rewind" featuring the Greatest Hits of the 80s and including the "Rewind Classic Album", "3@3" and the "The 80s Spotlight".
