Pulse Business Chat Show – “Business Time” – Celebrates 1st Anniversary
Pulse Community Radio's latest business show, “Business Time”, first aired in May 2012 and has been going from strength to strength ever since. Hosted by Barrhead-based ActionCOACH Business Coach Andy Goldberg, with co-host Lesley Malcolm – director of Clearwater Brookes – the show’s primary purpose is to create a community of local business owners by opening up communication, and giving tips, hints, and inspiration to the listening business community. Andy always has guests on the show, ranging from small business owners from East Renfrewshire and beyond, to business advisors such as accountants, solicitors, and social media experts, and web designers. Mixed in with the business chat, which Andy and Lesley like to keep light and spontaneous, is plenty of music that often reflects Andy’s 70’s and 80’s American upbringing.... but despite that the show’s still worth listening to! In the past year, Andy has interviewed Gavin Bell – award-winning journalist and owner of Dumbreck Riding School, Lou Hickey – singer and song-write from Neilston who performed live in the studio and has just released her latest album, Jackie McNamara – manager for Dundee United Football Club, and Bruce Wilson – ex-HMRC tax inspector and now tax specialist accountant working for us good guys! Just to name a few. Future guests are already lined up for the next three months as local businesses and members of community queue up to try and get on the show! Andy and Lesley are looking forward to an even better second year of chat and music, but in the meantime plans are in place to celebrate Business Time’s first anniversary!
